Ms. Anne Marie Gennari
I have been an Educational Assisstant for the Special Education Department since the 2006 - 2007 school year. I have worked with grades Kindergarten through 8th grade.
I earned my BS in Special Education from the University of Missouri - St. Louis. Through this degree I gained my Life Teaching Certification in Elementary Education for grades Kindergarten through 8th grade and Intellectual Disability (EMH) grades Kindergarten through 9. I earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix here in St. Louis.
Prior to coming to SLCS/PCS, I taught sixth grade for eleven years followed by nine years teaching fourth grade in St. Louis County schools. During my teaching career I participated in mentoring new and experienced teachers. I also engaged in training teachers about various aspects of the MAP (Missouri Assessment Program) including how to write and score performance tasks and events.
I very much enjoy teaching and working with students of all ages and at all abilities. Working at SLCS/PCS has been and continues to be a very rich and satisfying experience both personally and professionally.
