HOW TO APPLY: APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN

We fill our enrollment through a lottery-based system. This means that families first fill out an online application to be entered into the lottery. The lottery is held at various points throughout the school year.

If your child’s name is drawn in the lottery, you will then go through the registration process to be fully enrolled.

Registration, as well as the lottery application, is completed through Schoolmint, our online lottery system.

Please note: your child’s lottery application does not roll over from school year to school year. If you are not offered admission in the year you first apply, and you want to try again the following school year, you will need to reapply for the current school year.

WHAT TO KNOW

Premier Charter School is a Pre-Kindergarten through 8th-grade charter school. This means that we accept students from any St. Louis City zip code. We do not utilize catchment zones so any resident of St. Louis City may apply at any time.

Our Pre-Kindergarten is for children that are 4 years old by July 31st and is a fee-based program. Limited financial assistance is available. More information can be found under the “Schools” tab and then “Early childhood”.

Our Kindergarten program is for children that are 5 years old by July 31st. We offer several opportunities for our incoming kindergarteners to get to know the school and peers throughout the summer. Information about our “Kindergarten Club” dates and times will be provided after registration.

DATES TO KNOW

November 1, 2023: 2024/2025 lottery application opens on Schoolmint

February 1, 2024: 2024/2025 Pre-Kindergarten - 8th grade lottery at 2:00pm. Applicants pulled in lottery will be notified by preferences selected in Schoolmint application.
