Mrs. Sara E. Guller

Teacher leader and ell coordinator

Hello! I began my journey with PCS in 2003. I taught 4th grade for five years, ELL classes for four years, and the last few years have been serving on the administration team as a teacher leader. I have felt a strong connection with PCS since I was placed to student teach here, and have never left! The team is so collaborative and hard working and the students are the best!

A little bit about me...I grew up on a farm in Moscow Mills, MO. I went to the University of Missouri in Columbia and got a degree in communication science and disorders. I worked for Maritz Travel Company for a few years after graduating and was able to travel the world. My favorite was a safari in South Africa! Then I got my teaching degree from the University of Missouri in St. Louis and finished my masters in Elementary Education there as well. Finally, because I love learning and doing new things, I got my certification in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I really enjoy learning about other languages and cultures. I also just finished LACE (Leadership Academy for Character Education) as Character Education is also a passion of mine.

I am now a Teacher Leader and ELL Coordinator for the Language Department (4 ELL Teachers, 1 Spanish Teacher, and over 200 ELL students). I am also a coach for new teachers. I love being part of the administration team, helping to lead new initiatives and carry out the vision of our school.  I enjoy my job and am very dedicated to this school. I am amazed at how far we've come over the years.

In my spare time, I am busy with my wonderful family. We enjoy doing things around the city, going to the Lake, and visiting my parents at their farm.
