Mr. Kenneth Doyle
Middle school principal
Welcome to another fantastic year at Premier Charter School. I am proud that I am in my 13th year at Premier Charter School, and it is my pleasure to offer my services to the families of the St. Louis community who have entrusted us with their children's education. I know that what we offer in terms of a rigorous, foundational academic education coupled with a sincere approach to character education is what makes Premier Charter School one of, if not the, best schools in the city of St. Louis.
Overall, I have been in education since 1995, serving my first seven years as a 6th grade social studies and ELA teacher for 3 years, and as a 4th and 5th grade classroom teacher for 4 years. I came to PCS in 2005, and taught 8th grade math for 6 years before serving as the Middle School teacher leader for four years. I am currently in my 3rd year with the awesome responsibility of serving as the Middle School principal. My goal as the head of the Middle School is to provide the necessary support and guidance to the teachers and families of our PCS community, so that all our graduates are able to successfully compete academically and socially with any student in the St. Louis area and beyond.
I am a native of Missouri, having been born in Columbia and moving to St. Louis in 1979. I graduated from Christian Brothers College high school, CBC, in 1988, and went on to earn my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Saint Louis University. I have my Masters in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri. Education is in my family, as my father was a professor at Saint Louis University and my wife is a 4th grade teacher in the Mehlville school district, and we have four children. Our oldest is 20, and he graduated from PCS in 2012. He is currently attending college in Springfield, Missouri. We have two girls, 13 and 10, who both attended PCS for two years before we moved. Our youngest is 6, and he is a 1st grader at Uhtoff Valley in the Rockwood School District.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about Middle School policies and procedures, the high school selection process or anything pertaining to PCS.
