Drop Off and Pick Up Information

For all students in K-8, classes begin at 8:15 a.m. and end at 3:25 pm. 

Early Childhood Procedures:

Students may arrive between 8:00 am and 8:15 am to ensure proper supervision of students on campus at all times. At the start of the year Pre- K students will be walked into the building.  We ask parents to park in the designated parking spots outside of the EC building and use the crosswalk to walk your child into the building. Students in grades Kindergarten and 1st grade should be dropped off in the circle drive area in the parking lot in front of the Early Childhood building. Please stay in your car as your child gets in or out of your vehicle; staff members will be present to ensure the safety of all students. This will keep traffic moving smoothly and keep the parking lot less congested and, most importantly, safer for all.  Please follow the direction of staff in the parking lot as students will also be crossing the parking lot at crosswalks.  If you choose to walk your child to the front door, please park in the designated parking spots in front of the EC building. There is no double parking at any time during arrival drop off.  More information will be coming out to you as the first day of school approaches. 

Dismissal occurs at 3:25.  Parents may enter the building at 3:25 and walk to their child’s classroom to pick up at the door.  Parking is available in the parking lot as well as the surrounding streets. You may park in the circle drive during dismissal as well as the lot.  We ask that you pull all the way around the circle drive to allow for as many cars as possible.  Students who are not picked up by 3:35 from the classroom will be walked up to aftercare and will be charged a daily drop in rate.

Elementary/Middle School Procedures:

Students may arrive between 8:00 am and 8:15 am to ensure proper supervision of students on campus at all times. Students in grades 2-8 should be dropped off in the designated area in the parking lot or along Sublette Ave. Please stay in your car, if in the parking lot, as your child gets in or out of your vehicle; staff members will be present to ensure the safety of all students. This will keep traffic moving smoothly and keep the parking lot less congested and, most importantly, safer for all. For our Elementary and Middle School building drop offs, lanes split into 2 lanes once you get to the lower crosswalk.  Please follow the direction of staff in the parking lot as students will also be crossing the parking lot at crosswalks.  If you choose to walk your child to the front door, please park in the designated parking spots towards the top of the parking lot or North (ABOVE) of the stop sign/middle crosswalk on Sublette Ave. Below this area is for quick student drop off. There is no double parking at any time during arrival drop off.  

Dismissal occurs at 3:25.  Parking is available in the parking lot as well as the surrounding streets. You may park behind the cars parked along the right side of the lot (along the brick wall).  Please make sure to use the crosswalk when crossing the lot.  Students in grades 2 and above have the option to be a walker.  If this is the case, the appropriate “walker form” needs to be filled out.  Walkers are expected to immediately leave campus at 3:25. They will not be able to wait in the parking lot for a ride.  Students who are not picked up by 3:35 from the classroom or who are still waiting outside will be walked up to aftercare and will be charged a daily drop in rate.

Drop off and pick up are the busiest times of the school day.  We really appreciate your patience and understanding as we are all working to keep our students safe.  Families can help us in this process by using their turn signals when entering and leaving the campus as well as following the directions of the staff members in the parking lot!  Thank you!
