Ms. Kim Wright
middle school assistant principal
I have been fortunate enough to work at PCS since we opened in 2000. I began my career at PCS as a Kindergarten teacher. After four years in the classroom I moved into the role as the Middle School Counselor. In the fall of 2015 I began the transition into the role of the Middle School Assistant Principal. I continue to utilize my counseling skills daily in my current role as the Assistant Principal.
I have lived in St. Louis my entire life. I graduated from Westminster Christian Academy school, WCA, in 1991, and went on to earn my Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. I received my Masters in School Counseling from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2004. In 2014 I received my Professional Counseling license as well as my Registered Play Therapist credentials.
I am the proud mother of two amazing daughters, who keep me on my toes. In my free time I enjoy running and spending time at the gym. When I can find some quiet time I love relaxing with a good book.
My goal everyday is to work with our staff to ensure that all students are receiving the best educational experience possible. It has been an absolute privilege working with so many students and families throughout the years and I look forward to all the new relationships to come.
